viva la health! i finally buckled down (since my boss said i could pay roll deduct the service) and got the keratin complex treatment on my hair. what is this you say? well i'm not entirely sure all the details besides that it is a chemical that goes on the hair to restore the keratin loss (keratin loss creates split ends and ugly hair so condition condition!) annnnd remove frizz/straighten your hair. now i was assured my curls will not be completely murdered but rather more defined and "waved" rather than my julia roberts in pretty woman look. le sigh. in a life where i'm striving for length i want health and this is more of a deep conditioning than a relaxing.
the down side is like a typical relaxer/perm i cant wash my hair for three days! so i have poker straight hair this weekend which anyone who knows me for realz knows the flat straight look ain't my thing! say a prayer. i want to be pretty for the next three months.
i have been having nightmares. terrible ones. usually involving vampires or zombies or bad people in the mall. i roll over and snuggle deep into josh's hunky sleeping body in hopes that he can enter my dream world and fight the danger. he has a history of punching people.
paul is home from georgia which means party time at his place. i am excited to see my friend again.
the weather is warm for now and im so hyped about summer fun. i can't wait for the beach and tofu ice cream at the park. any park. and tan bodies. and fruit stands. and love. and bike rides. and beer.

i know that i've watched too much of the history channel and true blood when i wake up from a terrible dream about hitler, nazis, vampires, and rudy and kelly.
on my days off i typically watch the history channel throughout the day and last week there was so much nazi shiii on. so today i finally watched a couple of episodes of "true blood". sara told me it was awesome and so i tried it and now i'm hooked.
and now i have bad dreams.

this movie looks incredible.



and! watchmen comes out next week.
today is pancake day at ihop. i have to work till 3. free pancakes later, anyone??!

its 4am and i am home from the loving arms of my loving man man. boooooo. mans gotta work so i can gamble for real.
i had a wild night of gambling and apparently i'm really awesome at it?
i had a very successful lucky streak on roulette.
seriously, i owned that table.
atlantic city? vegas? who wants to go with me??
i won a wii tonight but then some jerk of a mt. pleasant (probably) employee stole it. so i ended up with a digital camera at the end of the night. its an olympus which i dont know anything about but hey i haven't had a point shoot in years annnnd it was FREE! it'll be nice.

so i have a lot of photos of me looking too cute to handle and blahblahblah for a time when i have a little more power. yessss.

i have come so far and so much has changed since the days of insanity in my life.
its really all about choices and how we handle things when the going gets tough.
i'm not perfect but i think i've done a good job.

also, for a little lady i have the largest ass in town. try to compete with it.

i can't drink beer like i used to. i hadn't had a sip of alcohol in what feels like months until recently and now i drink one beer and my tummy is too full to proceed. i used to be pretty good at it. sorry to let everyone down.
i have been a vegetarian for two years now. i am proud of that.
no one believed i would make it!
i cannot wait for joshua and i to start our life together.
i suppose it has already started but...yes.
i also cannot wait for my derrick brown book to come in.
today is customer appreciation day at rudy and kelly.
this means cake and balloons. yea yea.
tomorrow is our banquet.
this means looking gooooood.
sunday or monday means hopefully finishing "the subterraneans" which i started a million years ago. i just miss kerouac when he was new and fun. to me.
